Cartier Celebrates One Hundred Years Of The Trinity Icon

Celebrating Trinity means celebrating Cartier. This is why the Maison chose to host three near-simultaneous events in the three capitals where the three Cartier brothers - Louis, Pierre and Jacques - settled at the beginning of the 20th century. These are the cities where they built the Maison’s three temples: Rue de la Paix, Fifth Avenue and New Bond Street. Three is the perfect number for Cartier, the magic number! These three evenings took place successively, at the Chelsea Hotel in New York on February 1 in the presence of Yara Shahidi, then at Ladbroke Hall in London on February 5 with Paul Mescal, and lastly in Paris on February 7 at the Petit Palais, where they were joined by the remaining Trinity ambassadors: JISOO, Jackson Wang and Labrinth. The Paris event marked the end of the celebrations, with an evening headlined by Sia, Labrinth and Diplo following a performance by dance collective La Horde.

Global Ambassadors and Friends of the Maison also joined the celebrations in Paris, including Jake Gyllenhaal, Vanessa Kirby, Rami Malek, Monica Bellucci, Sofia Coppola, Isabelle Huppert, Golshifteh Farahani, Emma Corrin, Manu Rios, Emma Chamberlain, Úrsula Corberó, Sophie Wilde, Marisa Abela, Jeremy Pope, Mélanie Laurent, Virginie Efira, Lou Doillon, Raphaël Quenard, Vincent Lacoste, Joséphine Jhapy, Deva Cassel, Lena Meyer-Landrut, Lisa Vicari, Roh Yoon-seo, Khatia Buniatishvili, Amira Casar, Kimberley Woltemas, Jeff Satur, Blanca Li, Ahmed Malek, Nadine Labaki, Dhafer L'Abidine, Boran Kuzum, and Hafsanur Sancaktutan, among others.
Linked by Trinity
Diversity, love, friendship, Trinity symbolizes this and much more, as a ring made of three interlinked bands in perfect harmony. This universal icon is joyfully passed along by the Friends of the Maison through a friendly chain. It all starts with actor Paul Mescal, who sets the tone for this chain which includes Jake Gyllenhaal, Vanessa Kirby, Rami Malek, Monica Bellucci, Manu Ríos, Deva Cassel and many more.
New Trinity Designs…
Trinity is the perfect equation: clean lines, accurate proportions, precise shapes. To celebrate 100 years of Trinity, Cartier has designed three new variations on the ring: a cushion-shaped version, a modular version and an XL version. The collection also includes a reissue of the XL bracelet, a true cult piece.
